British Future took part in events at all three main party conferences. The Labour and Lib Dem events focused on the rising issue of populism, and the Conservative event examined the impact of Britain’s shifting voter demographics.
The discussion will cover ways to square the circle between public concerns over “benefit tourism” and ensuring refugees and migrants are not left destitute.
Featuring works drawn from the Tony Ray-Jones archive in the National Photography Collection, and rarely seen early black and white photographs by Martin Parr, this exhibition will explore the relationship between these two important photographers and their fascination with the English.
