Event type: Party conference fringeDate: 10/10/2023
Location: ACC Hall 2D (main area), Liverpool
Breaking down the barriers to opportunity at every stage is one of Labour’s five missions for the government. This fringe meeting will seek to identify the challenges of promoting opportunity and social mobility in an increasingly diverse Britain and seek to identify how this can successfully address different potential barriers to opportunity for those from different backgrounds. The event will also root out ideas for what Labour’s manifesto policy commitments need to entail for a progressive social mobility program across the country.
