Voices of a Generation – Franny, Chineme and Eleni

On the topic of how to get more young people engaged with politics one thing that came up regularly when we were speaking to first-time voters was the idea of political education. In a recent poll 62% of 18-22 year olds said that they would be more likely to vote if they felt their education had prepared them better to understand the differences between the parties and policies on offer. With this in mind, we asked Franny, Chineme and Eleni what they thought about the idea of having compulsory political education in schools.
