Event type:Date:
Location: The Abbey Centre 34 Great Smith Street London SW1P 3BU
British Future invite you to an “identity hustings” with the Liberal Democrat leadership candidates, at which Tim Farron and Norman Lamb will debate the big questions of identity in politics today.
Key topics may include:
- Can liberals speak to a majority in Britain today?
- Will the UK survive?
- Can liberals persuade people who are sceptical on issues of immigration and Europe?
- What is the role of England and Englishness?
- Britain as a multi-faith and increasingly secular society.
- Do liberals believe in ‘British values’?
The event is free but places are limited so please RSVP to info@britishfuture.org or call 0207 632 9069 to request a place in the audience.
You will be informed of the venue when your place is confirmed.
We’d also like potential attendees to send us your ‘identity hustings’ question for the candidates when requesting a place: we will be selecting a range of the best audience questions for this question time-style hustings debate.
