British Future director Sunder Katwala is part of The Guardian’s first ever Open Weekend on 24 and 25 March 2012.
Looking at how new technologies are facilitating a new wave of global protest, Sunder Katwala joins a discussion on ‘What is the new age of protest achieving?’. The panel also includes Paul Mason (economics editor BBC Newsnight), Anna Solomons (UK Uncut) and Kai Wargalla (co-founder of the Facebook and Twitter accounts that sparked Occupy London). The discussion is chaired by Becky Gardiner (editor, Guardian comment pages) and takes place at 11.15 on Sunday 25 March.
There are over 200 programmed sessions over The Guardian Open Weekend, including debates, talks, workshops and much more. Some tickets are still available.
