Immigration: Enough is Enough
Event type:Date:
Location:
‘Immigration: enough is enough.’ That’s the motion for The Spectator’s next debate. With the government currently off target for their aspiration of reducing net migration from the ‘hundreds of thousands’ to the ‘tens of thousands’ in this Parliament, should they make much deeper cuts to immigration to stabilise population levels? Or would that mean cutting out immigration that is needed for economic growth and which is good for Britain?
Speakers announced so far include Dominic Raab MP and Frank Field MP for the motion, and journalists David Aaronovitch, Oliver Kamm and Jenni Russell against it.
Tickets are £30, or £20 for Spectator subscribers.
