The future of immigration policy: what would secure public trust?’

On Tuesday 8th June, as we celebrated Refugee Week, we teamed up with the  to consider where public opinion is on immigration policy ideas, alongside a panel of academics and politicians from both sides the benches.

Sunder Katwala and Dr Jill Rutter shared our findings from the National Conversation on Immigration alongside Bobby Duffy – Kings Policy Insitute, Kate Green MP – Chair of APPG on Migration,  Steve Double MP and Baroness Hamwee.

They shared British Future’s positive reflections from upcoming and our previous research on immigration. Sunder also shared some of the private findings on refugee protection.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and our friends at Good Faith & RAMP who provide the secretariat for the APPG on Migration.  We look forward to the next session by the APPG on Migration.
