Glasgow International Piping FestivalEvent type:
Glasgow welcomes back the International Piping Festival this August, the largest event of its kind anywhere in the world.
Featuring experimental new talent and established musicians, venues will include masterclasses, ceilidhs, and workshops.
Last year’s event triumphed in the Traditional Event category at the Scottish Event Awards, and, in the build up to this years event the organising committee are creating the ‘World’s Biggest Pipe-a-long’. With a tune already selected they are hoping pipers from all over the world will film themselves playing a-long. (Iconic backdrop optional but encouraged)
To add your video to the collection email firstname.lastname@example.org and in the meantime follow the festival on twitter @glasgowpiping or visit the website www.pipinglive.co.uk
