Interviews: Do you want an anthem for England?

British Future’s fearless video reporter went out on the streets to ask the general public if they felt England needed its own anthem, and if so what it should be.

Our video reporter has uploaded the first few videos, and there’s more to come. British Future and a coalition of supporters called for an English anthem for when English sporting teams take to the field, just as Flower of Scotland plays in Scotland and Land of My Fathers plays in Wales.

Check out the videos here.

Land of Hope and Glory, Brilliant impassioned words and tune. I still find this tune as emotional as I did when I first heard it. It separates the English from the rest. as Land of my Fathers, for Wales, or Flower of Scotland does for our good neighbours. Bring it on.

We already have an unofficial one! Land of hope and glory. Jerusalem not rousing enough; it a hymn for gods sake. The sooner this becomes our official National Anthem the better.
