On Tuesday 15th January, British Future and Policy Exchange hosted Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, as he delivered his first major speech of 2013.
Uniting Our Communities: Integration in 2013 covered lots of ground. Here we select one particular highlight, namely when Pickles explained how integral fluency in the English language is to integration within the UK, citing a number of reasons for this. Last but not least on his list was The Only Way Is Essex.
